Anabel Rose first shaped her artistic identity as a Black Girls Glow fellow in 2018, co-creating and performing an album in just a month. Since her 2023 debut, she has released three singles and an EP, blending pop with rock, R&B, alté, house, and bossa nova.
Her debut single, Love Me or Die, established her fearless approach to overlooked genres, while Do Not Disturb expanded her Rosalindas fanbase through international playlisting, press recognition, and a nod from Native Magazine as one of November 2023’s best new artists. Her third single, Lungs, earned her a feature on H&M’s global Spotify playlist and recognition as OkayAfrica’s best Afrobeats song of 2024. In her second year, she earned two 3Music Awards nominations (Emerging Woman of the Year & Alternative Song of the Year), affirming her rising influence in Ghana's alternative scene.
A seasoned performer since childhood, Anabel holds residencies at Kempinski and Marriott Hotels and has graced stages at Palmwine Music Festival, Manifestivities, Italian and Norwegian embassies, and Sofar Sounds Accra. As part of 99PHACES, she collaborates with independent artists to push the boundaries of Ghana’s alternative music, building a community dedicated to showcasing diverse talents and genres. Her debut EP reflects her journey, blending genres to explore love, life, and vulnerability while inviting listeners to embrace individuality without fear of external validation.
